Beckham Boys Watch Lakers Game
December 1, 2008 by Erin Balser
While mom Victoria Beckham is working in London, David, Romeo, Brooklyn and Cruz returned to Los Angeles in time to catch the Los Angeles Lakers game yesterday afternoon. The Lakers took on the Toronto Raptors and defeated them 112-99.
The boys look like they are having lots of fun and are really getting into the game, cheering and clapping for their team! I wonder what other fun father/son stuff David has planned for the foursome while Victoria is away.

England Defeats Belarus 3-1
October 16, 2008 by Erin Balser
David Beckham and the England squad defeated Belarus Wednesday night 3-1. The win is largely thanks to Wayne Rooney, who scored twice for England.
David came on the field as a substitute again, giving him his 107th cap and passing Bobby Charlton in the record books.
“Without a doubt it means a lot,” David told reporters after the game. “Sir Bobby Charlton was a hero of my dad and also of mine. I went to his soccer school when I was a boy. With him being a Manchester United legend I’m very honoured to be above him in the list.”
Here’s a video with highlights of the game:
David will now return to the Los Angeles Galaxy as they continue their quest for the play-offs. Since David was suspended for a game, he must sit the next one out.
David Beckham Blogs About England, Galaxy
October 16, 2008 by Erin Balser
David Beckham is currently on the road, playing for the English national team, but he still had time to update his blog. Over the weekend, he only saw a few minutes of play, but was pleased that England defeated Kazakhstan. Despite his lack of playing time, David says he was pleased to participate and “come on the field to create chances.”
While David was away, the Los Angeles Galaxy defeated the Colorado Rapids 3-2. David was disappointed to not be there, but was glad to see the team win. The Galaxy needs to win all three of their final games if they hope to make the play-offs. One down, two to go!
Beckhams’ Housekeeper Arrested
October 14, 2008 by Erin Balser
According to the Daily Mail, a woman who worked as a housekeeper for David and Victoria Beckham was arrested on Friday for suspicion of theft. June Emmet and her husband Eric were accused of stealing personal items from the Beckhams and selling them on EBay for a profit.
They were discovered when Victoria’s mother noticed the familiar items online. They went to Victoria’s London home to confirm their suspicions and reported the Emmetts to the police.
The Emmetts are denying the charges, claiming the items were gifts from the Beckhams. However, Victoria’s mom maintains that this is impossible, as many of the items up for sales were unique gifts for Victoria and David.
“What is in the papers is fabricated nonsense. Totally fabricated, 99 per cent of it is totally untrue,” Mr. Emmett told the paper.

David Beckham Blogs About Columbus Crew, England
October 8, 2008 by Erin Balser
David Beckham updated his blog today. He wrote about the disappointing loss to the Columbus Crew over the weekend and how the Los Angeles Galaxy have quite the task ahead of them. They currently sit last in the MLS Western conference and only have 3 games left to make the play-offs.
David remains confident that the team can come together and pull off a play-off berth. However, he won’t be able to play in two of the final games. He’s missing this weekend’s game because he was called up to play for England as they take on Kazakhstan and Belarus.
David Beckham Suspended from Galaxy
October 7, 2008 by Erin Balser
David Beckham received a yellow card during the Los Angeles Galaxy’s match against the Columbus Crew on Saturday. Because of this violation, David will miss the October 1 match against the Houston Dynamo.
The match is a pivotal one for the Galaxy. They are currently in the bottom of the standings with only three games left. If they hope to score a play-off berth, they need to win all of these games.
David is also missing this week’s match against the Colorado Rapids because he was called up to play for the English squad.
Hopefully the team will be able to perform without David on the field.
Los Angeles Galaxy Lose to Columbus Crew 1-0
October 6, 2008 by Erin Balser
The Los Angeles Galaxy all but ended their play-off chances when they lost 1-0 to the Columbus Crew on Saturday. The entire tram was frustrated with their performance of late. However, instead of dwelling on lost opportunities, the team is looking ahead in hopes of clinching a play-off berth.
“The frustration was there a few months ago but we’re in a position where we could still qualify for the playoffs, believe it or not,” David Beckham told reporters after the game. “It’s tough when you have to win games. When you don’t win games you don’t give yourself a chance. Tonight the work rate was there and the togetherness was there.”
Here’s a video with highlights from the game:
The Galaxy have three games left to pull a berth in the play-offs out of the bag. Do you think they can do it?

Pictures: David & Victoria Beckham at Macy’s

David and Victoria Beckham launched their new signature fragrances at Macy’s in New York yesterday afternoon! They both look great! The crowd waiting to see them outside of the store was gigantic. You can see pictures of that at the Daily Mail.
Victoria’s shows have no heels! It’s insane. I’m amazed she can walk in them. I love how they blend into her leather leggings.
Tons more photos of the launch below the cut!
