David Beckham’s name is the one leading the All-Star roster when the MLS All-Stars play the British Club Ham United on July 24 in Toronto. David received the most fan votes in a system that weighted fan votes, player votes, coaches votes and management votes to determine who would make the team.

Here’s a video of the interview David Beckham gave after the 1-1 draw the Los Angeles Galaxy played against Chivas. David’s trying very hard to be diplomatic, which is great, but I think his voice sounds a bit strained. It was a very physical and emotional game, after all.
