Brooklyn Beckham is a Beatles Fanatic
October 10, 2008 by Erin Balser
According to the NY Post, Brooklyn Beckham, the 9-year-old oldest child of David and Victoria, has a favorite band–and it’s not mom’s band the Spice Girls! Instead, Brooklyn’s tastes go back about 40 years in the British music scene to arguably the greatest band ever–The Beatles.
Victoria has been taking the boys to the Color Me Mine studio in Los Angeles quite a bit recently. Every time the Beckham family makes a visit, Victoria brings along their own soundtrack, including “Magical Mystery Tour” and “Rubber Soul.”
The staff at Color Me Mine doesn’t mind at all. When they asked Victoria about it, she said it was Brooklyn’s idea!
“Brooklyn just loves The Beatles,” she replied. “Can’t get him to listen to any of my records, though!”
It’s great to see the boys growing and developing their own likes and dislikes. Now that they aren’t into the Spice Girls, will a disinterest in soccer follow?
Victoria Beckham and Boys Build a Bear
October 6, 2008 by Erin Balser
Victoria Beckham was spotted with her boys at the Westside Pavillion Mall in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon. The boys were excited to go to Build-A-Bear, the store were customers are allowed to create their own teddy bears.
Victoria looked great in an orange shift dress and platform Marc Jacobs heels. Those heels are insane–I’m impressed she’s wearing them on a mall outing! She’s patient and playful with the boys as a bodyguard carries all her purchases. I wish I had a bodyguard for that very reason!
Here’s a video of the family walking through the mall. It always bothers me when the paparazzi get in Victoria’s face when her kids are with her like that.
All three boys got to build their own bear. They are so cute!
Tons more photos below the jump!
Gwen Stefani & Victoria Beckham’s Playdate
October 3, 2008 by Erin Balser
Gwen Stefani and Victoria Beckham brought all their boys together for a playdate at Color Be Mine in Los Angeles yesterday.
Gwen looks amazing. She gave birth to youngest son, Zuma, only a month ago, on August 21. Victoria looks great too. I love her casual look and the headband looks great!
I hope the boys had fun. They’re all close in age, so they’d make great playmates for each other!
Victoria Beckham & Eva Longoria Watch Galaxy Win
September 21, 2008 by Erin Balser
Victoria Beckham and pal Eva Longoria Parker were on-hand at the Home Depot Center last night to watch the LA Galaxy defeat the DC United 5-2. Both gals seemed to get really into the game, as did the Beckham boys. Brookyln and Romeo were seen standing and jumping and cheering all throughout the exciting win!
However, Cruz doesn’t seem to impressed with the evening in the photos below!
I wonder what happened to Cruz’s forehead. That’s a pretty large bandage!
Beckham Boys Are Jonas Brothers Fans
September 11, 2008 by Erin Balser
Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz Beckham have a brotherly trip they consider their role model–superstars the Jonas Brothers!
The Jonas Brothers appeared on UK’s GMTV yesterday and were asked about the Beckhams. The sibling sets got to meet at the Teen Choice Awards, where mum Victoria revealed that her boys are huge fans of the Jonas Brothers.
“The whole entire family’s amazing. We got the honour to meet them at the Teen Choice Awards,” Kevin Jonas said. “We met the boys and we took pictures with them - and Victoria said that the boys wanted to become the ‘Beckham Brothers’. And so we were like, “Yes!”‘
I love that the Beckham boys are so normal and are fans of the same bands and like bands like the Jonas Brothers!
It’s a Star-Studded Birthday for Romeo Beckham
September 6, 2008 by Erin Balser
Romeo Beckham celebrated this sixth birthday on September 1st. The Beckham celebrated by having a star-studded costumed bash at the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood.
I love how the Beckham boys dress up for any occasion that suits their fancy. Romeo looks very much the star of the show at Batman, and Cruz would light up any room in that Power Rangers costume!
Attendees included Geri Halliwell and daughter Bluebell Madonna, Heidi Klum, Seal and their kids, Leni, Henry and Johan, and Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale and their boys.
Beckham Boys Bend it Like Dad
August 7, 2008 by Erin Balser
David Beckham took his older sons, Brooklyn and Romeo out to the park to practice soccer. The boys showed great form and met up with some other kids who were playing as well.
David happily signed autographs for his kids’ new friends and offered some coaching advice. He seemed to have a great time, laughing and joking with the kids.
Can you imagine playing soccer at a day camp and having David Beckham show up? It must have been a great day!
Video: David Beckham Accepting Teen Choice Award
August 6, 2008 by Erin Balser
It took a few days for a video of David Beckham collecting his surfboard for Choic Male Athlete at this year’s Teen Choice Awards to pop up, but it finally did!
Kristen Bell from Heroes (and Veronica Mars–I love that show!) and Josh Holloway from Lost presented David with the award. Kristen looks supercute, I love her new bangs.
I love that David brought his sons up on stage. Cruz is the cutest kid in the whole world. i wonder if he’ll be a performer hen he grows up.
David & Victoria Beckham Eat Out
August 1, 2008 by Erin Balser
David and Victoria Beckham are really enjoying living in LA, if you take how often they eat out as any indication.
On July 28, the pair dined alone at the Thompson hotel.
Last night, they made it a more family affair, taking the boys (you can see them in the back!) to Maestro’s steakhouse. They had dinner with Victoria’s parents.
Below is a video of the family leaving. I wonder what the boys think of this. Since it’s happened their whole life, flashes and cameramen must be normal, but does it scare them? Do they love the attention?
Tom Cruise Cheers David Beckham on
July 12, 2008 by Erin Balser
Tom Cruise was on-hand to watch the Los Angeles Galaxy-Chivas USA game on Thursday night. Tom sat in a box with Brooklyn Beckham, Matt Lucas, the star of Little Britian, Simon Fuller, and Tom’s son Connor. The group looked like they enjoyed the intense game.
As we know, the game was a very emotional and physical display and it ended in a 1-1 draw. I’m sure it was a game that was far more fun to watch than to play.
