Victoria Beckham on Cover of Hello! Canada
April 18, 2009 by Erin Balser
Victoria Beckham is on the cover of this week’s issue of Hello! Canada, which is celebrating her 35th birthday with a fashion tribute and revealing 35 things you probably didn’t know about the multi-talented star.
If you’re a fan of Victoria, I’m sure none of the 35 things will be new to you, but for the average reader of the magazine, I bet they’ll pick up one or two interesting tidbits.
These details include revealing that Victoria tried out for the role of Lara Croft in 2001 and that she’s been subject to two different kidnapping plots.
As far as celebrity magazines go, I really enjoy Hello! Canada, as they go out of their way to be respectful to the lives of the celebrities they cover. It’s not rumor-filled trash, but rather retrospectives and celebrations.
The magazine hit newsstands on Thursday and will be available all week!

Victoria Beckham Sells Magazines
April 11, 2009 by Erin Balser
The Audit Bureau of Circulations did some research to see which celebrities’ faces fared the best on magazine covers. The best-selling names of the last year? Angelina Jolie, Victoria Beckham and Lauren Conrad, according to WWD.
Victoria shone for Elle, while Lauren was a stand-out for Self and Angelina sold copies for Vanity Fair and W.
Victoria’s Elle cover last year was their highest selling issue of the year, with over 413,000 copies sold.
And the celebrities who fared the poorest?
Nicole Kidman, Carrie Underwood, and Rachel Weisz. Rachel graced the cover of Vogue, Carrie was on the cover of Elle and Nicole bombed for Glamour, selling the fewest copies in recent history for the magazine.
WWD has the entire report, which is broken down by magazine, including Lucky, In Style, Vogue, W, Self, Vanity Fair and more.

Victoria Beckham & Marc Jacobs Profiled in Berdorf Goodman Magazine
March 10, 2009 by Erin Balser
In the upcoming issue of the Berdorf Goodman magazine, Victoria Beckham sits down with designer pal Marc Jacobs. The two of them chat about everything from Marc’s nude shoot with Harper’s Bazaar to the tabloid fascination with the Beckhams.

WWD was lucky enough to get a preview of what I’m sure is going to be an amazing read!
“They’ve done this horrible thing, Victoria,” Jacobs said about the now infamous nude shoot. “They’ve airbrushed me, so I look like a Ken doll.”
As for the paparazzi fascination, Victoria has a pretty good attitude about it all.
“The problem is, when you are well-known in the tabloids, and you’re trying to break into a new industry, it makes it very difficult, because people get preconceptions, and so everybody thinks that I am a miserable bitch who goes shopping every day,” she said.
We know this isn’t true, Victoria!
The Berdorf Goodman magazine comes out four times a year. It’s available only to US residents, either in store or via subscription.
Victoria Beckham on February 2009 Cover of Italian Vanity Fair
February 4, 2009 by Erin Balser
If the Beckhams do make the move to Milan permanent, it looks like Italy will welcome David and Victoria with open arms. Victoria is gracing the cover of the February 2009 issue of Italian Vanity Fair (See the cover here.) They used the photo shoot from her recent spread with Harper’s Bazaar, but she’s stunning. I love that shoot, so it’s nice to see them use it again.
Inside the magazine, Victoria talks about how happy she is about David’s success in Milan and how much she enjoys spending time in Milan. The fashion community is very strong there and Victoria feels that she is very much a part of it.
“I like Milan a lot,” she says. “I know so many people there, especially in the world of fashion: Dolce and Gabbana, Armani… The city is vibrant, full of energy and passion. You eat well. There are no reasons not to appreciate Milan.”
She feels she and David are more in love than ever and is excited to grow old with him. She also admits that other than her father. husband and children, she has no connection with heterosexual men and doesn’t understand them!
The entire interview is posted on the website, which is in Italian. You can use Google to translate it if you’re like me and your Italian is non-existent!

Victoria Beckham Interviewed in London Times
December 4, 2008 by Erin Balser
Victoria Beckham was interviewed by the London Times yesterday as part of her press junket for the Victoria Beckham Collection. She chatted about developing her dress collection, how she is strict about her boys’ manners, how hard it was to make the move from pop star to fashion designer and more.
She also talked about her designing process. She doesn’t sketch, but she thinks that’s nothing to worry about:
Do I draw? No. Then again, nor do lots of designers. But I put it all on myself and walk around in it, and I know what feels comfortable. I know how a dress should sit. I’ve worn so many in the past and when I see the photographs I think, crikey, my boobs are up round my neck again because the corsets are too short and not cut high enough. Like I knew I would spend a lot on the best-quality zips because, like many women, I’ve had my share of crappy zips. I wanted a zip that undoes from both ends because then you can either put the dress on over your head or, if you don’t want to mess up your hair, you can step into it - and also, you know, going to the loo wouldn’t be this whole big palaver.
Victoria Beckham on Cover of Vogue India
October 23, 2008 by Erin Balser
Victoria Beckham is this month’s Vogue India cover girl! In the editorial, she plays the role of Indian bride. On the cover, she’s wearing a hairpiece. I think it’s a really interesting concept and the clothes are gorgeous, but the wig just reminds me of how much I love Victoria’s new cut!
The photo shoot inside is supposed to be amazing! The magazine will hit stores next week, so be sure to watch out for it!
Victoria Beckham on Cover of UK Glamour
October 10, 2008 by Erin Balser
Victoria Beckham is the November cover girl for Glamour UK. It’s their celebrity style issue, and who better to have on their cover than the queen of celebrity style?
In the feature, she talks about her love for grapes, that she’s not trying t get pregnant, how much her boys love living in LA, and so much more.
Victoria doesn’t rule out having more children in the future, which is the same as always: maybe someday, not right now.
“It takes a lot of energy, and the thought of having another baby now would be a little bit much,” she tells the magazine. “Maybe in a year or two but right now, I’m having amazing career opportunities and I want to enjoy the boys.”
Victoria also talks about her new kitchen adventure. She’s recently become a big fan of making cupcakes.
“I’m very good at lasagna and spaghetti Bolognese,” she says. “I don’t eat them myself because I’m vegetarian. But for David the night before a game, it’s good to make sure he has protein and carbohydrates. … I’m very good at Dora The Explorer cupcakes too – out of a packet.”
The issue is expected to hit newsstands this week! You can see the cover here.
Victoria Beckham Interviewed in The Sun
September 23, 2008 by Erin Balser
Victoria Beckham spoke exclusively to the British tabloid The Sun about her healthier new lifestyle (she’s running a lot and eating more!), her outrage about the diet pill rumors, her new haircut, her frangrance line and dress line and how Anna Wintour takes her calls!
“I can genuinely say I’m content and happy at the moment. I don’t really give a sh*t what people think about me. I’m more grown up now and I’ve learned not to care so much what people say,” Victoria says. “It feels fantastic that everything I’ve worked so hard for over the past five years is coming together.”
The interview really sounds like Victoria is loving life. You can read it for yourself here.
David Beckham on Cover of Men’s Health
August 4, 2008 by Erin Balser
David Beckham is on the cover of the September issue of Men’s Health and he looks great. There are two available covers. In one, he’s wearing a very stylish blazer, vest and poor boy cap and in the other, he’s wearing a black tank top.
The Sun has pictures from the photo shoot and it looks fantastic. Very 1920s/Cinderella Man inspired.
The article is about “The Becks Effect” and his impact on the MLS and soccer in North America.
See the pictures and get a brief overview of the article here. Then be sure to check it out when it hits newsstands!
Which cover do you like better? I love the more dressed-up one, but the tanktop one fits with Men’s Health better.
Victoria Beckham in Vanity Fair
August 3, 2008 by Erin Balser
Victoria Beckham has a one-page interview in this month’s issue of Vanity Fair. They talk about her and David’s upcoming fall fragrances. Both she and David were very involved in the entire fragrance-making process. Victoria promises that while David’s fragrance is very masculine, it complements her own fragrance very well!
You can see the scan and read the article here.
Victoria is also in this month’s US Glamour magazine as one of seven people who will change your fashion. I haven’t seen it yet, but it should be popping up on the internet soon!
