David Beckham is on the cover of this month’s GQ UK magazine. He looks absolutely gorgeous, with a fedora and a suit. It’s very ’20s gangster style and it works. GQ is celebrating it’s 20 anniversary this issue and I think it’s quite a testament to David to put him on the cover of such an important issue.

In the interview, David talks about how he never has intentions of being a movie star, about his friendship with Tom Cruise and Scientology and living in America.

David Beckham is on the cover of the September issue of Men’s Health and he looks great. There are two available covers. In one, he’s wearing a very stylish blazer, vest and poor boy cap and in the other, he’s wearing a black tank top.

In the article, David chats about his life in Los Angeles, soccer, playing for the Galaxy and for England, and how he and his family try to live a normal life despite the rampant celebrity culture today.

Star Daily Magazine has a big story about how David and Victoria Beckham are really upset over their E! True Hollywood story documentary.

It actually doesn’t reveal anything new–Victoria is controlling, Victoria never smiles, Victoria never eats, Victoria was picked on at school, they engineered their fame, etc.

I’m willing to bet that neither the E! Hollywood story nor reality is actually this dramatic. Star just embellished it all to sell papers.

David Beckham spoke about Capello’s decision to leave him off the English squad during the LA Galaxy’s training session yesterday.

“I totally respect that and totally understand that,” he said to Sky Sports News. “There are a lot of Premiership players who have played 15 games in the last two months and I haven’t played a game since December - so to be called into the squad was probably unfair.”

Despite understanding and respecting the decision, David can’t help but be disappointed.

“It’s always disappointing when you’re not included in an England squad,” he added. “The thing is I half expected it because I know what Fabio Capello is like as a manager and if he thinks you’re not fit and ready to play then you won’t be in the team.”

I’m sure David will have a chance to play for Capello in the future.
