Victoria Beckham Unveils Dress Line

Victoria Beckham unveiled her highly anticipated dress line this week. She will be selling it via private appointments throughout NY Fashion Week. The line is ver representative if Victoria with lots of structured pieces and interesting colors.

“Structure is an important word to use when discussing my collection,” Victoria told WWD. “The corsets and belts that have been incorporated into my dresses have been made in such a way that they are comfortable and supportive. My clothes are designed for women from a woman’s perspective.”

WWD was privy to an exclusive preview of the line, and has some photos of it on their website–head over the the article to get a sneak peek of two of the dresses in the collection.

They are elegant, simple and you can easily see Victoria wearing them. I’m excited to see the rest of the collection. The dresses will retail starting at $1,200. I think this is too pricey for Victoria’s fan base, but I don’t think her fan base is who she wants wearing these clothes. She’s catering to a different clientele with these garments.
