David Beckham Called Up to England Squad
David Beckham was called up to play for the England team in two upcoming matches for the World Cup Qualifiers. England will play Barcelona on September 6 and Croatia on September 10.
These will be David’s 104th and 105th cap. This ties David with Billy Wright, who has 105 caps to his name. Both these matches will be played away from home, and mark Fabio Capello’s first time at the helm of the team in a competitive match.
