Video: David Beckham in Olympic Closing Ceremonies
The pictures of David Beckham at the Closing Ceremonies of the 2008 Olympics can be found here. Below is a video of David participating in the awesome ceremony. He comes in on a trolley and kicks a soccer ball into the stands, symbolizing London’s taking the reins of the Olympic planning. London will be the host for the 2012 Summer Olympics and David was a key player in making that bid a successful one.
I wonder how much involvement David will have with the Olympic Planning Committee and the IOC in the next four years. It would be a lot of fun, and a remarkable reflection of David as a sportsperson, if he was to be a pivotal person.
