Victoria Beckham’s Communist Ancestors
Hans Mueller, a German historian, did research on Carl Heinrich Pfaender, who was a colleague and friend of Karl Marx, the father of communism. In his research, Mueller made a surprising discovery–that Carl Heinrich Pfaender’s great-great-great-granddaughter is none other than Victoria Beckham.
Pfaender fled to London after the 1848 revolution in Paris failed, settled down and started a family.
Britain’s News & Star makes light of this, imagining what a Beckham government would be like.
I just think it’s cool that Victoria has just important and influential ancestors–I wish someone like that would pop up on my family tree!
