Rumor: Victoria Beckham is a Fragrance Diva
According to the Daily Star, Victoria Beckham is getting very demanding when it comes to making sure that everything is perfect for the upcoming Beckham fragrances launch. Apparently she’s even demanding that Harvey Nichols recarpet the whole store so that the decor doesn’t clash with her perfume’s logo.
Victoria has her own carpet that she’s planning on bringing along. Her rep even cofirmed this, citing that the environment is really important for a successful launch.
“We do have our own purple carpet, which we will put down for the launch,” her rep said. “That is simply because the whole theme of her new fragrance is purple. It makes perfect sense to launch it in an environment that blends in.’’
The Daily Star has a “source” from Harvey Nichols who is very upset over the whole ordeal.
“We pride ourselves on being one of Britain’s trendiest stores, but we’re obviously not posh enough for Posh,” their source said. “She’s such a control freak we’re expecting her to lay the carpet herself.’’
I can understand Victoria wanting everything to be perfect and this just seems to me to be a lack of communication and strong personalities coming together to work on an event. Calling Victoria a diva, a queen and a control freak seems excessive. But then again, I’ve never planned an event with her!
