Video: Galaxy Loses to New England Revolution
That’s two losses in a row for the Los Angeles Galaxy. They just couldn’t get it together after their 4-1 loss to DC United. Playing n their home field in Los Angeles, the Galaxy suffered a 2-1 loss to the New England Revolution on the Fourth of July. The Galaxy struggled early, giving up a 2-0 lead. While they pulled it together in the second half, they could only come up with a single goal by David Beckham Becks scored off a free kick.
David chalked the loss up to indecisiveness and lack of focus.
“Sometimes you look to play passes which aren’t on or you play passes to the person you think is free and they’re not,” he told the press after the game. “That’s about mentality. It’s to make sure decision-making and to keep concentration. You have to concentrate for 90 minutes because everyone knows in seconds you can lose a goal by not concentrating.”
