Victoria Beckham Movie Rumors

Rumors are flying that Victoria Beckham is going to be a film star! Despite the fact that Victoria has adamantly maintained she has no interest in acting–other than playing herself, as she did on Ugly Betty–there are not one, but two seperate film rumors circulating right now.
The first is one stating that Posh will star in pal Tom Cruise’s new film. Tom has asked Victoria is have a cameo role in his upcoming film Hardy Men, which stars Tom and Ben Stiller as grown-up versions of the Hardy boys.
I think a cameo isn’t too far out of reach. It would be something fun for Victoria to do, it would raise the profile of the movie a bit and a cameo is never tons and tons of work. I’m sure she could fit it into her busy schedule!
The second film rumor is one claiming that Victoria will play Lynn in Steve Coogan’s Alan Partridge film. Lynn was Partridge’s long-time assistant and apparently the role has been very difficult to cast.
“The Partridge film has been in pre-production for an age. One reason was because they couldn’t agree on Lynn,” a source told Marie Claire. “It was also important to them to have a Brit and someone with a sense of fun. Victoria is a big name but no one expected her to have such a rapier-like wit. She’s game to frump up for the role, too. She was practising her hangdog grimace to David on Monday. It was cracking him up.”
While do not doubt Victoria’s sense of humor, this rumor seems to be quite a stretch. When would Victoria find the time to fit in such a major role?
