Los Angeles Galaxy & Houston Dyamo Draw

April 20, 2008 by Erin Balser

The Los Angeles Galaxy played the Houston Dynamo last night, and the end result was a 2-2 draw. Landon Donovan scored both of Galaxy’s goals, with the set-ups going to David Beckham.

The Galaxt struggled in the first half, but pulled it together in the second.

“First half terrible, second half better,” David said to reporters after the game. “I thought there was no urgency in our play in the first half. Throw-ins, free kicks, everything. “A few words were said at halftime by players and by management. In the second half a few players were changed and we had a bit of fight in our game. That was what got us back into the game.”

While it would have been nice for the team to have pulled out a win. coming together the way they did at the end is an invaluable experience for any team. They can only look ahead now, as they gear up for playing Chivas USA next week.
