David Beckham’s 100th Cap is Complete!
David Beckham must feel fantastic today. Yesterday he became the fifth soccer player in history to get 100 caps for England.
David started the game, and wore special golden boots on field to mark the appearance!
“David was so excited to play,” a close friend told People. “He is still enthusiastic and has a great passion for playing for his country.”
38 minutes into the game, David received a yellow card. At 62 minutes, David was subbed out of the game.
France won the game 1-0, which is disappointing, but will not be remembered. David’s historic appearance will be. His family was on hand to watch him, an thy celebrated with a quiet family dinner after the game.
However, David, ever the sportsman, is already looking ahead.
“His first match of the new season for Los Angeles Galaxy will be on Saturday, in Denver,” says the pal. “It’s back to work already.”
