David Beckham Reunited
When David Beckham was thirteen, he traveled to Dallas to play soccer and billeted with a family, Sam and Christine Alcala. David recalled them fondly in his biography, but they had since lost touch–it’s been over 19 years!
But this weekend, when the Los Angeles Galaxy played Dallas FC, David was reunited with the Alcalas.
“I can’t believe you are here. I have such amazing memories, it was a great time, very special,” David said to them when they met this weekend.
“It was nice to see them. I’ve been searching for them for a few years. Thankfully the Mirror did it for me,” David told the Mirror, the paper responsible for the reunion.
“He is an awesome man. He was always a nice boy and nothing has changed,” Sam said.
