David Beckham and Gillette Part Ways
The Daily Mail is reporting that David Beckham has left his partnership with Gillette razors because his terms for the contract couldn’t be met. Apparently David wanted a share of the sales profits and Gillette couldn’t give him that.
David will be replaced in the ads by Thierry Henry, Tiger Woods and Roger Federer.
The contract, worth £40 million, ended last June and negotiations for a new contract fell through earlier this month.
Hopefully this will give David the time to move onto bigger and better things. The new ads with the new sports stars are expected to make a big impact–sometimes change can be a good thing!
