Posh Doesn’t Want Kids to Become ‘Too American’
Victoria Beckham is loving Los Angeles but is worried that her family might lose their British customs and values.
According to Contact Music, she is even considering hiring a British male nanny in an effort to retain her boys’ British accents.
Posh said, ” I really do not want my boys losing their accents. “While I love it here in the States, we are not Americans and I want my boys to keep their British accents and roots. “It would be unthinkable for them to lose it.”
Why a male nanny? “I watched the film that Vin Diesel starred in as a male nanny and just loved it and thought that men can be just as good as a nanny as women. I wouldn’t mind having a man as a nanny,” Posh said.
Posh is getting a lot of flack for these comments, but I bet she’s partly joking…I hope she’s partly joking.

I dont know why she is getting so much flack for comments like these. What she’s commenting on is perfectly ok, wanting her kids to grow up with thier roots. The kids not loosing thier accents is a big thing, I’m english, and for nothing would I want to loose it. The american accent is great but our accent along with everything else makes us individual. She shouldn’t be getting so much slack for this. And I dont see why she has to apologise or lie, whether she said these comments.

i think it is great that she wants her kids to know their british heritage. i think it’s the vin diesel comments she is getting flack for. that’s what i was referring to about the ‘joking’ section. i think people took that part seriously.
