Posh Rejects Spice Girls’ Fashion

Victoria Beckham put her foot down when Spice bosses suggested that the girls wear their 1990s get-ups for part of the upcoming reunion tour.

Entertainmentwise writes:

Posh reportedly refused point blank to re-create the Spice Girls’ 90s-era image during a planned performance of their hit Viva Forever.

As a ’style icon’ she obviously couldn’t be seen in chunky platform shoes and girly, barely-there dresses.

Neither was Posh happy with tour manager Simon Fuller’s suggestion that they hire Spice Girls look-alikes to play the original five – in case they turn out to be better than her.

An insider tells the Daily Star: “Victoria is facing a style dilemma. She doesn’t want her double to be more attractive than her. And she doesn’t want them to show up her dancing skills.

“And she doesn’t want her clothes to be uglier than the other four.”

And if that wasn’t enough for poor Posh to worry about, apparently Big Brother Posh-a-like Chanelle Hayes is desperate for the part of her idol.

Chanelle couldn’t hold a candle to Posh. Victoria has nothing to worry about!
